Valve cover liquid gasket application
 

I need help on interpreting the service manual's instructions on how to apply liquid gasket to the 4 corners of the valve cover. I have read the manual but the pictures and instructions don't make sense to me. Can somebody show me how to apply the liquid gasket per the service manual by drawing on the attached picture?

The diagram labeled "z - z" makes no sense. How do you get that view? The top left is side view, the top right is top view but what is the bottom right picture?

Basically your applying silicone where the vvel ladder and head meet at the corners.
