If you installed with fittings "UP" like most of the kits out there, just undo BOTH AN fittings and use air pressure to blow the oil out. A little messy, but way easier then front end disassembly. and NO, you don't have to manually fill the cooler before starting the engine....The VQ pump is very high volume and will fill it virtually instantly. Fresh Oil that is not up to temp will be largely sent to the engine rather than the cooler anyway (assuming the correct use of a thermostatic plate)

haha didn't even think about removing the fittings at the sandwich plate. good thinkin' lincoln

now i just need to find a -10 AN compressor adapter. heh.
