Coolant bypass filter
I've seen these on diesels,
and they're recommended for wet sleeve engines...
Seeing as how the maintenance schedule has coolant flush at 60,000 miles
Do you guys think adding a coolant filter is a good idea?

Not needed on a modern engine. On diesels, they are designed for long service intervals. So they may benefit from the coolant filter. At work. We had to check the coolant weekly and take samples monthly. When the reports came back from the samples. We either added additives to it or changed the coolant. We're talking 10 gallons on some and 100 gallons on others.
