Can you just DIY the Open Breather kit??
I was currently helping my friend install his 3-inch RZG intakes and when we got to installing the open breather kit, it was literally a few rubber plugs and two crankcase vent filters. It blew my mind that my friend spent like an extra $50 for this and by itself they cost roughly $130. The AN fittings that come with the kit are for running this breather kit with stock intakes which is not what I'm trying to do. I just am looking to buy the plugs and filters for when I do run intakes on my car. My only issue is that I don't know the sizes of the plugs or filters. Is there any way someone can steer me in the right direction?

Here is my Free PCV delete.
http://www.the370z.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1576854965 I have been doing research on crankcase pressure on the VHR. It is commonly believed that if you remove the PCV system, you will lower the crankcase pressure, as it can "breathe" easier. So I decided to measure the crankcase pressure with the stock PCV system and with the stock PCV system removed and vented to the atmosphere. In a future episode to be released by the end of January, I will share my test results and testing methodology on my channel: https://www.youtube.com/motorvateDIY |
