What you say sounds believable, but with the pulleys, I also changed the belt. On top of that, it squeaks on start even after normal driving for 15-20 minutes, if I make a quick stop for something. It takes at least 30min of normal driving to be able to start without squeaking.

Ever since I got my car there has been c1109-00 and c1707-00 in the Ecutek DTCs. No other indications anything is wrong....

Just and FYI on this code if no one found the culprit. C1109 is some kind of voltage code for the abs.. there is a major ground under the dash that is usually is responsible for this.. the code is benign and fix is like a whole day affair.

Can you provide any more info on this? I tried to do a bit of research, but I found nothing related to the ground you’re talking about.

I had the same code. (mine went away and I've never seen it before my last tune) could be not an issue. My tuner informed me on what the issues can be. You can start with the easy ones and proceed on. This is from 350z site but I assume the connections are roughly the same. Check battery voltage, etc. One guy had a bad alternator that was over charging the battery. Fixed that and it went away.

also, general fix etc.
