Is the front flush, or is it recessed into the hole?

Recessed into the hole the same amount it sticking out in the back

How distance do you have from the bushing face to the diff cover?

Non, it sitting flush with the diff cover

The cover don’t touch the subframe there is a small gap

If everything is tight and no movement. I would say you're safe to go.

For reference, this guy installed the 350Z SPL diff bushing on his 370Z
http://www.the370z.com/engine-drivet...-bushings.html

The 350 bushing is slightly longer and larger in diameter. He eventually swapped them out with Whiteline poly bushing cause street car. But no issues with the SPL other than the PITA of the larger diameter factor :eekdance:
