Hello everyone ! I need desperate help I am doing diff work to the z. I am using z1’s poly bushings. I already have the 2 front ones in but I broke the rear one today trying to get it in. I am overnight shipping one for tomorrow and I need to be prepared. Z1’s instructions say to remove the metal casing from the bushing bang the bushing in from the driveshaft side with a rubber mallet and then put the metal casing in after. The way I broke it today was trying to thread it in from the back but it just wouldn’t go in and broke it trying to take it out. Have any of you found an easier/better way ? Thanks in advance!

Use a saw to cut the metal collar out. Its the fastest way.
For install, go to Home Depot or Lowes, but a rod long enough to go through to the other side and nut that fits it, buy two metal flat brackets strong enough to lay against the subframe. This is your home made bushing installer. Youtube diff bushing install and there are plenty of videos
