CSF Radiator got failure just few days ago

I bought it in December, 2017. Last less than 1.5 years. Water temperature rocketed suddenly without any sign before its failure. Car was under high-way cruising. Checked and found no external damage. I think I should post these. Bad feeling and user experience!

Wish all of you running with it best luck!

Not the first one and won't be the last one. I have one but just declare it a maintenance item to change ever 2 years.

This is definitely that hot time of the year where radiators are going to fail sorry to hear it. Everyone’s experience can be different I had three CSF radiators and none of them ever failed or leaked. Do you track your Z any or just street duty? The only things I have had to do is change the radiator hoses before because hoses swelled and regular Genuine Nissan “blue” coolant flushes and refills. The only radiator I had leak before on my Z was the Mishimoto radiator after a track event. I hope you fix it soon good luck.

Street duty. Occasionally mountain pulls. All the hoses had been changed along with installing the radiator. Have had several similar cases here.

Radiators can fail at anytime of year. It doesn't have to be summer. :shakes head:

CSF has a major QC problem. :shakes head: Been to many of them on Z's the last few years fail. CSF is right up there with Mishishittymoto.

If mine fails too quick, I am going back to stock.... Figured I would try it and see what happens.

Hopefully, you got one of the better ones.

I hope so too. I am running the blue coolant like stock. It is hit or miss with the CSF radiators.

I wish Trackspec would make one for our cars like they do for the Corvette. Looks quality.

To each their own I was impressed by the cooling capabilities of the CSF radiators as they kept the coolant temperature in check at the track and actually ran lower coolant temperatures than the stock OEM Nissan radiator. Having a coolant temperature gauge works wonders. ;)

How high does your water temp gauge go?
