Another P0300 Thread

Let me start with this:

No, my search button is not broken
Yes, I have read plenty of other P0300 Threads

The Situation:
Installed a Z1 34 Row Cooler (unplugged battery during the process). As soon as I started driving the car, I am getting a flashing SES. Highlights:
  • Flashing P0300
  • Code comes in as "Pending" and won't specify a cylinder
  • Only happens while I am moving. Idling, revving in place, etc. I get nothing
  • I notice no performance impacts whatsoever
  • It is not the battery

Thoughts anyone?

This is something you're going to have to diagnose (obviously). Have you checked fuel pressure? What do your maf readings look like?

You will have to drive around for a while for the ECM to relearn the engine. Engine will run rough while relearning which might cause a false knock detection.

Try resetting the ECM again. Pull battery cable and step on brake pedal for a few seconds. Reconnect battery. For a MY 2009, you will need to reset the windows (several threads about that on this site) and you will lose your radio presets.

Clean your MAFs. Very easy job and only takes 5-10 minutes. Dirty MAFs can cause weird problems.
