Are they failing on everyone's manual cars or only those who hammer the snot out of them? Dropping the trans is no small job and I don't have the facilities to do it. I've got under 30k on my car and I don't beat on it...mostly just used for DD type duty. It's a 2014 base model. Paying $1500+ for something that's not broken bothers me. That said I assume it's an easy swap if you have the trans out for a clutch replacement, yes?
