S Mode warning after hard shift
Ok so i messed up, lets get that out of the way. Completely forgot to put my car in to s mode and then hit the track! Shifted WAY to hard from 4th to 3rd and now i have a warning anytime i try to enter s mode shifting. Any ideas here?
I put it on a obd reader and nothing showed but from what i have gathered it may be the sensor. Not sure if i broke it or just bumped it out. Has anyone directly worked with this? Looking at my video i recorded i can hear the tires squeel as i shift from 4th to 3rd after a strait, as soon as that happened i couldn't turn s mode on again. Any help is GREATLY appreciated, trying to avoid the dealership at all cost, literately lol |
ECU reset solved the issue. did more reading and decided it couldn't hurt to give it a shot.

Bump
Solution was short term. Today, and a 2 other times before now, I have pressed the S mode button to get a flashing warning and it will not rev match. Resetting the ECU fixes the problem but i'm wondering why it comes back?? didn't do this until the original issue. Could there be a loose wire / connection i'm don't know about. any help is GREATLY appreciated. |
