The other day my car was stalling and I realized it was the AC clutch since it was smoking and melted. Turned off AC and it was fine. AC clutch won't turn back on though, just a click when I press the button yet it still lights up.
AC relay is good. I checked some of the wiring to see if this was caused by a short. ![]() ![]() I checked the ECV harness (F44). Pin 3 has ground but no power. Pin 2 has neither. And I couldn't get the clutch connector (F43) off so I didn't test that. Should I dig deeper into the wires or just change the clutch and see if that fixes it? Will this one do or should I get the $400 OEM one? |
