That would be the only way i can get under there. I have a buddy who's much smaller and he can be bribed with beer. Its working now but when / if it arises again i'll have him take a shot at it first. |

I actually got it to work while driving, so I attempted the cruise control at the same time with no success.
As to how it got knocked out of place, i can guess it was the bad shift. Didn't think it was that jerky to move the sensor but i'v been wrong plenty of times before. Since i didn't really adjust it and just applied a liberal amount of pressure i'm still going to try and actually move it. Hopefully the cruise control will work but if not i'm not sweating it. I just really wanted / needed to get the s-mode back. |

Your cruise will start working once the adjustment is dialed in. When you pulled the clutch pedal up you got the switch to momentarily depress which would fix the S-Mode for a while, similar to resetting the ECU you did before. The cruise wont work until the adjustment is completed because the switch needs to be continually depressed for cruise to work.
This is from changing your clutch master cylinder. The hard shift would not have caused this.
