The input speed sensor makes sense that it would only be on SRM transmission. Are there base models that have the gear displayed on the cluster (mine does not)? If you think about it, would there really be any reason to include it, aside from SRM and the gauge display?

As I said I wanted it for a CAN bus project, but since I don't have it I'm going to see if I can infer it from engine RPM, transmission gearing, and clutch engagement.
