I'm not sure exactly what settings/data your referencing. Even just a second and the radio presets along with the power window settings are gone. Fairly certain ECU learning/trim data is also gone (this isn't a bad thing) as soon as you disconnect the battery.
If what you're really worried about is losing a tune, don't. As evidence, I've had the battery disconnected for days and weeks without problems. In fact my car has been without a connected battery for the last month and a half due to periodic work I've been doing to it. I have no doubt once I get it back together it will fire right up once I get the new PC680 battery installed.

This style plugs into diagnostic port & clips to an external battery/ some are made to use a plug in 9V dc battery & hold memory.

hotprops,
Take the worry out of losing anything by hooking up a booster battery pack to the battery leads before you remove them from your battery. That way there'll be 12 volts to any memory until you hook up the new battery. Be sure to keep those leads away from anything metal that might cause a short circuit. |

The only thing you lose is the maintenance interval stuff, clock, window auto up/down, and maybe the trip mileage and radio presets. A loss of power even for a few seconds will reset that stuff. But engine tunes and important stuff is all stored even with no power for months if not years.
You could buy something or spend an hour rig up some wires to keep power while you do the replacement but it's completely unnecessary because a pencil and a piece of paper with and about 10min could record and reprogram all that stuff.

So far, everybody is right. You can hookup alternate power ...
or just reset a few things when you're done. Window reset takes about 30 seconds. Resetting radio presets shouldn't take long. The ECM's adaptive tuning params will be lost but will be relearned in a few minutes; any custom tune will still be there. Personally, hooking up alt power is more trouble than resetting a few thing. YMMV.

I’ve tried one of those memory holding cables on the Z. Didn’t work. Just put in a new Bosch Platinum AGM battery and reset your radio. Our car only holds 6 stations...

The memory retention things that plug into the cigarette lighter won't work on our cars, the ignition has to be on in order for that outlet to be active, in fact, 95% of Honda, Toyota & Nissan's are like this. External power applied to the OBDII port will allow the ECM to retain all settings. I did this when I swapped the battery in my 2012 and didn't lose anything.

I think I paid $25 for it. Would have paid double that for the time I save.

If you open the doors and leave them open while you replace the battery you won't have to worry about resetting the windows. That is the only thing that I would consider a pain.

Not sure why you want to replace an 'almost new' with an AGM battery. I would just hook it up to a battery tender if it is not driven much.
