I believe the fluid has a anti friction solution added. I use to put a couple of ounces anti-bind additive for GM differentials, in mine. Filled up the diff with

I use to put a couple of ounces anti-bind additive for GM differentials, in mine. Filled up the diff with Shell Full Synthetic Spirax 75-90W GL-5.
