installed new camshaft position sensors, problems again 2months later....

2011 Nissan 370z Touring (sport)
100k mileage

during the summer (May), my crankshaft and camshaft position sensors, and fuel level sensor went bad. I changed out the crankshaft and camshaft position sensors with new ones in July. Started having problems over the weekend with acceleration lag and power loss (car hiccuping) when i tried to get the vehicle in higher RPMs. OBD2 reader diagnosed it as the camshafts position sensors, any long term solution to fix this ???

Thanks guys,
Leon

Did you buy new ones from Nissan? If they were aftermarket parts, this could be your problem. The other thing would be a broken wire in the wiring harness. Did you throw a code? If so, what was it.

You can look into who is the 3rd party that makes those sensors for Nissan. Many people don't know that plenty of this car parts Nissan doesn't even make them. They just slap the name on it and sell it for nearly doble the price tag. I had a few years ago one of the throttle bodies go bad and at Nissan they cost $600 for just one. Looking into it the throttle bodies for the 370z are made by Hitashi and they sell them to Nissan. So i got both Hitashi throttle bodies from Rock Auto for $345 and zero problems for over 2 years now. Simply just look into who makes them directly for Nissan and get them from that 3rd party for like half the damn price.
