Default Need help with p0524

What's up guys, unfortunately this will be my first post here and need some help. The other day I was driving when out of nowhere the car started bogging and went into limp mode. Pulled p0524 for low oil pressure. No other codes pulled. Regular maintenance with this car. I'm thinking it's most likely the paper gaskets for the early models for this engine, but is there anything else to check out? Haven't checked my oil pressure yet, gotta do that in the next day or two but would appreciate any help...

P.S. I have an 09 g37 which uses the same engine as the Z, so I don't have an oil pressure gauge already installed but figured might ask for help here

And your oil level is fine? Low pressure is almost always not enough oil.

Yeah, checked it when I got home and the next morning and it was all within spec and no leaks. Just changed the oil about a month ago as well...

Lift your oil refil cap, is there foam or some sort of gunk residue under the cap? If possible upload a pic of what the oil under the cap looks like. My first Z was throwing the same code and it turned out to be a head gasket leaking coolant / oil into the wrong areas. Was reading the pressure loss and putting me in limp mode. Tphe tall tail sighn is a foam substance boiling to the top of your oil, you can see it form on the oil cap usually

Hmm not too sure, I uploaded pics tho.

I was doing some reading and it looks like these motors have weak gallery gaskets that can cause pressure to go down, but just want to make sure it really is that or not...20180803_181725.jpeg20180803_181738.jpeg20180803_181747.jpeg20180803_181752.jpeg

So I might take it to a local mechanic who works on Z/G's and he's charging around $800 for the gasket repair, water pump replacement, and serpentine belt replacement. Not too bad considering all the labor involved, so hopefully this is the issue here...
