Default Bolt on need tune?

Good evening ladies and gentlemen,

Im the original owner of an 09 z and just recently got into modding the car. I currently got a exhaust and intake and looking into getting test pipes. My question is, If i get test pipes, would the car not run well and I would need a tune or would it be okay to wait a couple months for a tune? Thanks for the input.
