Rpm flutter while coastin to stop
 

Hey guys, I have a 2014 sport MT with the fast intentions twin turbo kit. I’ve had it installed for about 6k miles and I’ve started having issues with rpm fluttering. It only happens when I’m coasting to a stop (clutch not pressed) rpm will spike up to 2k and flutter between 1500 and 2k until about 5 mph, then it stops. I also have a locked in code for my MAF sensors. Is that the issue? New ones are on the way.

I've got a similar thing, though mine happens with the clutch pressed in when coasting... if I take it out of gear it stops. Been going on for a couple of years and my tuner is in another state and doesn't really do remote stuff much so I just live with it.

I get the same thing in neutral and the only engine upgrade I have is the CAI. I attribute it to the rev match software. I don't worried about it.

The same thing happens in a 7AT coupe but not that much when coasting or braking. Coupe doesn't have rev match either so I think in my case its just how the car handles downshfiting.

I thought all 7AT's had rev match?
