How to feed CJM return line?

Help me figure out how to feed return line from cjm kit the one that go from pump hat to the filter. Wheach direction do i feed it? Same as

Default How to feed CJM return line?

Help me figure out how to feed return line from cjm kit the one that go from pump hat to the filter.
Wheach direction do i feed it? Same as oem lines or some other way?

That isnt a return line but its a feed line from the hat to the filter.

You run it right next to the stock feed line. At least, thats how we run it. But you are free to route the hoses however you see fit so long as you keep them protected from any sources of extreme heat like exhaust manifolds and turbos.

Oh boy i tryed to fit it, no luck so far jacking up the car now for the take two.

Could you confirm what hose size goes there hat to filter? Longest one or the medium one?
Was told it was the longest one but then it look like medium hose wont reach to the from filter rails.
Also for the regulator do i drill mounting holes my self right?

Routing a hose up the front of the fuel tank is a source of frustration for many customers, and for the rest they find it it just passes right on through. I can route a fuel line up the front of that tank in under 60 seconds but I have heard some customers take days to do it.

The trick is that you have to be assertive and have a good flashlight. It really is easy, I swear. But if you are not getting your line of sight in there so you can see the obstacle you are navigating around, its just not going to go.

Remove the wavy shape chassis brace to make your life much easier. Then you route the hose straight on up next to the stock one. It will bump into a ledge. You reach up to guide the hose end behind the ledge, and feed the hose up more. Then that is it, it just pushes on in. You can try giving a gentle twist back and forth on the hose to help reduce friction from the PVC coating. Try not to twist it so hard to kink it though.

I didnt cheat and pull the engine for the fuel system install. This photo was taken much later when we pulled the engine to put the turbo system on I just thought it offered a real good perspective on how we route the S1.E engine bay hoses in the hard to see areas.

You asked which hose is which... comparing the 2 long hoses that both have a 90 and a straight. The longest one reaches from filter outlet to engine bay (back of passenger side rail on S1.SE kit, or top of 4-way fitting on S1.E kit). The second longest hose in the kit is the hat-to-filter hose.

Another thing I should mention while we have this thread going... when installing a S1.E or S1.SE kit, I get the regulator assembled to this point before putting it in the engine bay. Otherwise getting the return hose (the one with a 90 on each end) on the bottom of it is a real pain in the *** once its mounted to the firewall.

Just wanted to say thanks for posting all this info. I'll be attempting to tackle the S1.SE install soon. I need all the pictures and info I can get

I had to use bearing grease on the hose in order to pull it in without damaging
In this particular procedure patience is the key!

grab some 10 ga wire and wrap it around the hose spiraling it and use some electrical tape or similar and tape it quite a bit then run the wire up where you need grab it from the top and give it a few tugs it should bring the hose right through. I did this on my 350z
