I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that failing to pull the dipstick to check the oil for a few weeks is not the root cause of your issues. GLWRepairs

I had a thrust bearing fail when a cooler line popped off, junk from the bearings plugged the cam phasers, new engine required. You will need to check end play and at the bare minimum remove the timing and covers to replace the filters and clean out your oil passages but I'm going to bet you need a motor

UPDATE: It turns out to be the intake cam phasers were damaged. Shop replaced the intake cam phasers, timing chain and tensioner and we went ahead and replaced the oil gallery gaskets and bolts. Total was about $3800. The P0011 code is gone, drove it home and it felt great. Hope that fixes everything.

Note: Shop mentioned that they did the same repairs on about 7 other 370z's already. This shop is Z car specialty repair shop.

How many miles were on the car when this happened?
Having the same issues on mine and I'm 77k.
I'm not hearing any clicking but when i start up after thinking I've fixed it sometimes it'll start right up and other times it wont at all and the car will shake.
I've replaced the cam sensors, coil packs and have tested the solenoids. Solenoids have tested good but going to replace them anyways. Ive got them coming in the next few days.
I've talked to a few Nissan mechanics and they said they would be surprised that the timing was actually off with that mileage.
I keep hearing about checking/replacing filters behind the timing covers. That'll be next before I send it in.

mine was about 40-50k but I don’t think the mileage was really important as it coincided with a low oil / no oil pressure event. I have a thread somewhere showing how you can easily confirm/deny if its the phasers by measuring the sensor outputs or opening the covers and taking pictures

The last possibility most folks dont tend to check due to it being a rare one is VTC phaser ring. This is exacerbated by how long you've had a failing gasket. Most owners tend to put about 5k + miles on a failing gasket until something is changed or the problem gets worse

He's a thread I made about it, I only had a NEW bank 1 phaser which I took the opportunity to measure and it seems like tooth 5 alings with one of the tooth of the phaser. As you can see in the thread the failed VTC has a ring that has shifted by one tooth yet looks like normal VTC.

To the OP you're almost done with your issue.

You'll only have to figure out which of the three signals are you missing.

Power
Signal
Ground

A multimeter should solve this issue, most likely a failed wire into the connector or broken signal/ ground wire since a power wire would affect the rest.

Good luck.
