Limp Mode

Hey guys i wanted to see i anyone could shoot me some advice as to what i should do with this issue on my 2014 MT z34. when i first got the car stock i had this problem once. i added test pipes and a CBE and now i'm having this issue, fast forward 6 months now it was happening 4 times a week. the car around 2 gear wont pull even with the pedal to the floor its the same for every other gear. this never happens in the morning when i go to work but when im getting in my car to go home it starts. Took the car to nissan and they blamed it on my test pipes and CBE. did some digging here and a few guys said to clean the MAF sensor and TB & change the filter. i did all those, even swapped out the MAFS from another 370z. and i still have this issue, the only way for me to get out of limp mode is too pull over and connect my scanner to erase the code, the car works perfectly after. i have also read getting a tune would fix this issue? i have 37k miles on her, any and all advice is greatly appreciated.

Also i started my car right now to scan it to see what code it gives me but its running fine right now. i will take a picture when it throws a code an post it here.

I would suggest tuning your car tuned for your parts. Your ecu is probably going crazy with the AFR #’s not in range of stock #’s

Calg37USMCs advice is good. Others will tell you we need those codes to be able to even speculate.

I figured hmm, I don't really want a tune done ATM since my build isn't done still need intakes, Intake manifold, camshaft injectors and bigger TB anyone know if I keep clearing will I cause harm to the car? Don't really drive much maybe 30miles a week

It probably won't hurt the car - they have a strong sense of self-preservation - but why take the chance. Post the DTC(s) that was thrown and maybe someone can help you out.

My SWAG is that you damaged one of the O2 sensors while working on the exhaust.
