You're absolutely right Jay, it isn't cheap but it's worth it at the end. The trans should hold very well. so far, Pat from levelten has done a great job with customer service via phone. looking forward to meeting the team there.

Update:
new trans installed. capable of holding 1000 HP. thanks to Level 10, I am really happy with the new trans, Pat and his team are some of the most amazing people I met. Pat took care of me like I was family, he even called to see if I made it home safely, love this guy! the trans feels good, slightly "heavier"? I would imagine something like this feels different. Overall, the trans feels bullet proof, needing to install turbos next and that should complete the project. |

This is good... We need more boosted 7AT's.

Update:
After the install at Dynosty with TT kit, I made well over 570 WHP and 426+ TQ. I drove the car back for 7 hours back to Michigan and did some 4th gear pulls. Now mind you that it's still winter so I cannot punch it to the floor. the car handled great expect a little noise coming from the bay which sounds like a lose screw or squeaking sound. I spoke with the guys there and asked me to make a video and send it to pin point the problem. might not even be a problem (no it's not happening when building boost or after turbos stop) the trans feels very firm and shift good, the shifting (in sport mode) was firm because it's about 33% higher of how it's suppose to shift from OEM. Level 10 asked if I want to increase for harder shift (45% over OEM) but cannot give my 2 cents until weather warms up and take it on the drag strip and track. It will take me a minute until I write a full review of my build thank you! Last edited by 370Stealth; 02-07-2018 at 01:52 PM. |
