Well, it does appear to be sensor related. You just need to figure out why it won’t run with it hooked up. Did you buy an OEM sensor or aftermarket? Aftermarket crank sensors are notoriously known for not working properly. If it is indeed a Nissan OEM sensor, you need to make sure you got the right one.

Yeah it runs again if I d/c the sensor. I bought the sensor from Nissan itself and compared to the one I took out they are identical (item #).

Hmmm......you got me stumped. Are you sure that the wiring/ connector is not damaged or burnt?
It’s obvious that the car does not like or understand the signal it’s receiving (or not receiving) from your new crank sensor.
Will the car run with your old one hooked up? Try it?

Yeah, I swapped them a couple times just to make sure as of right now, I get the code for crank sensor sense it is out. But with the new and old one, got no code.

The wiring should be fine sense it throws a code when I have it hanging, but yeah I am stumped too at this point.

Might have to take it to an auto electrician and ask them to scope the crank sensor for you.

Next step would be to inspect the tone ring on the flywheel - borescope and turn the engine over by hand. Manual or auto?

Yeah, it's a manual. Thanks for the info, I'll try and see what I can take a look into in regards the ECM and/or flywheel.
