Erratic RPMs

Hello all, my Z is fairly new with less than 35k miles. I have installed a CAI and an aftermarket exhaust. I notice my idle tends to waver a bit, no more than +\- 300 rpms. It behaves weird when stepping on the accelerator it immediately is jumpy between 1-3k rmps. Its not the typical smooth climb its more of a straight 1k increase jump as if i floored it, when i let go rpms drop as if shifted from 6th to first.

Any ideas? I checked all connections for the intake and everything is tight no gaps.

your CAI may have air leaks, also clean MAFs and TBs

Would the exhaust come into play

are you automatic or standard? cold starts can cause this as well. are you allowing the car to warm up? is it only doing this when the car is cold or does it do this every time you go from a stop to an acceleration?
