Question Assistance needed in Manchester in a 370z

Hey guys,

This is a bit of a plea for help! 6 years ago I bought my dream car a Nissan 370z GT. Within 6 months my ex boyfriend has crashed it in to wall and regrettably the insurance didn't pay out on it.

For 4.5 year it stood on the front of my house under a tarpaulin

In the past year i've been in the position to start buying parts with the hope to getting it back on the road. One of my mates who is pretty handy with cars has been helping me but we have pretty much done as much as we can.

The engine is fine and it has been on a jig and is straight. We have fitted the fan and fan house and it is holding water.

What I need help with;
We have fitted the radiator off a manual car (mines an auto) so we need to fit a transcooler which I have.
I have the bumper and I think most of the parts for it....we need help fitting that.

I really need someone to come and have a look at the car at my house and tell me what bits I still need to get and help me fit the transcooler and fill it.

I have no way of getting the car to a garage and don't really have the money to take it to a Nissan specialist.

I wonder if there was anyone in the North West (I live in Manchester) that would be happy to come and help me out. I am more than happy to pay you for your time and my friend will be here to assist with anything. I also make a decent brew!

I am getting to the point where I will have no other option than to sell the car as it is and I really don't want to have to do that.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

I do have some pics I can send but I cant upload them as they are too large!

Thanks!

So basically you need someone with an automatic to post pictures of how the transmission cooler is mounted. You will also need some instructions on how to refill the auto tranny to the proper level once you get the cooler installed. I don't have an auto so maybe someone can post picks.

Mounted like an engine oil cooler (with inlet/outlet) on top of cooler-ensures it stay's full, along w/lines....unsure if trans has been drained or pumped out from crash.
On level elevated surface, drain at 19mm hex plug on rear & then fill from bottom-through 5mm allen plug towards L/F of pan.
It's designed to be overfilled & cycled through the gears...then remove overfill plug & let excess drain out till it begin's to drip (Nissan says 105-110*F) other's have said up to 170*F...& then cap off.
Mine is capped off at a 110*F drip & no problem's@85,000mi. +

No because on an auto its built in to the radiator.....so need someone who has fitted a separate one.....

Pie job,
Mount it just like an auxiliary engine oil cooler & tie the 2 existing hoses from A/T or install new ones.
Doesn't matter the direction of flow/ as plumbing is on top of cooler.
