I'd go with the Z Speed CMAK kit. It moves the slave cylinder from inside the transmission bell housing to the outside of the housing ... so if the slave ever fails in the future, there is no need to drop the tranny ... saving a lot of trouble and $$. It is more expensive than the standard HD CSC, but well worth the extra $$ IMHO. I'm currently running the CMAK kit with the HD CMC and clutch pedal assembly from RJM Performance. Works great!

I'm running the Z1 kit in my turbo build. If you don't have a need for a performance clutch you might not want to take that step. It's going to feel and have the stiffness of a mechanical clutch. I like to refer to mine as like driving a mid-80s F250 diesel. Not impossible in a DD but you'll probably hate it on traffic. |
