Exclamation CV Boot torn / empty - Repair or Replace

Had the wheels off the car this weekend to discover the rear passenger CV joint boot has split and spit grease all over the inside of my wheel and suspension.

Looking for suggestions:

1. $250 - Replace the CV boot and repack w grease
2. $850 - Replace Right-rear axle

Car has 84,000 miles, and daily driver.
