Question about GTM high capacity oil pan install

I'm installing a used GTM oil pan that has the baffles in it. I installed the oil pickup spacer and how when I test fit the pan the pickup is hitting the baffle and I cannot get it into place.

I guess I could loosen the two bolts on the pickup to maneuver the baffle around the pickup then torque down the pickup. That could get messy after applying the RTV sealant.

Just looking for any insight from someone who has installed this thing before.

I installed mine with no issues. Is possibly your pickup flipped the wrong way? Post a pic or two to help.

Wow. I might have to revoke my wrench card.

It was just hitting the electrical harness connected on the other side. Couldn't see it from where I was on the other side. I'm a moron. :)

That's the first step of the recovery process...proclaiming that you were wrong. Since this only happened once, we'll let it slide THIS TIME :tiphat:
