Default front driveshaft u-joint slop

Ok. I just put on new Z1 differential bushings. The old one were getting really bad. Now that the differential is nice and tight, I realize that the front u-joint has a lot of sloppy play in it. It is also making a loud clunking noise too now.

My research has shown me that the entire driveshaft must be replaced to fix this issue. So my question is, has anyone alternative fix? And is this a reoccurring problem with these cars? Also, is it a good idea to replace the driveshaft with a used one? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Are you sure you pushed the driveshaft all the way back into the transmission?

Yes. I took a video of the noise. After looking closer, it's seems like a bigger problem. Sound is coming from the gear box.

Well it wouldnt be the first time someone has had a problem with the gwarbox but it would be the first time I've heard of someone having an issue with the driveshaft

I've heard of worn u joints. Sucks too because I haven't heard about any replacement u joints, just the whole shaft... Stupid as all he11. My u joints felt a little notchy at 15k miles, so I'm a little worried about long term.
