Default AFR at WOT

Never got a straight answer on how lean is too lean for WOT AFR, just that 12-13 is ideal. Untuned my car runs 14.6-14.9 at idle, cruising and WOT. Is this dangerously too lean or just a little beyond the ideal window?

That is too lean. At WOT you need to be below 13 or right at it. If your sitting at 14.9 at WOT that's not good.

Ideally 14.7 if everything runs perfectly. But with fuel, timing, etc. being different many tune for 13 to give themselves a safety margin, the extra fuel can also act as a coolant. Of course the closer you are to 14.7 the more power you make and more heat. The risk is pre-detonation which can cause serious damage. On my R1 I've run 13.7 before without issue. But this is a lot like financial investments, wants your tolerance to risk?

Have you pulled a plug and inspected for metal specks? That's way too lean for high RPM IMO.

Little update for everyone. Called Dynosty to ask them about this since I'm going there for a tune in a couple weeks. Apparently the WiFi OBD2 port readers tend to skew a lot of the car's AFR runs slightly off in terms of rich/lean
