Default Z throw P0340 and P0345 code after violent spun out on skidpad

Hi guys

Went to an advance car control class and car was fine and fun on auto cross but really hard to control on skidpad. After violent spun out on skidpad, it took 10 sec to restart and get service engine lights on. Reset clear the codes and 3 hours driving home is fine. Check the code when I reset and it mean cam/crankshaft position sensor circuit malfunction but no issues after reset, should I still concern about it? How long is the life of the sensors like that? Thank you!

Z is fairly new (2014) and when I say reset, I erase the code from OBD II reader. Regular shut and restart engine still has the service engine light and code.

Make sure that you cleared the PIDs from the ECU and not just the reader. If codes come back, I'd first check the wiring going to the sensors (P0345 is Bank 2/left/driver's side). If wiring checks out, I'd check the sensor(s). The FSM is an invaluable resource when troubleshooting (link in my sig).

Oops. PID should be DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code). Sorry about that.
