Slave cylinder mounting

Long story short, I need the slave cylinder to have ~4mm extra travel. Would shimming the slave cylinder mounts cause any issues?

Default Slave cylinder mounting

Long story short, I need the slave cylinder to have ~4mm extra travel. Would shimming the slave cylinder mounts cause any issues?
