CSC Alternative?
Has anyone ever seen this type of CSC? It's not made for our car specifically, but it's intriguing.
Unlike our aftermarket/factory CSCs the throw-out bearing isn't riding on the clutch fingers continuously. If you watch their video the bearing rises to meet the clutch fingers when engaged, so under high RPM the bearing doesn't heat up, the plastic doesn't melt, and the CSC "appears" from that rough analysis to be more reliable. Anyway I'm asking if anyone has heard of this type CSC that doesn't make constant contact with the clutch fingers. Street Hydraulics |
Interesting.
The website says it is good for circle track use ... is that to mean that it is not suitable for road course tracking? |
Not sure.
My boss is putting one on a restoration Corvette 65? I think. He's going to garage queen it I'm sure with all the money he's putting into it. He says it's reliable and all the Corvette guys are using it? HellifIknow. |
