Anyone who has a car with more than a little power and wants quick 0-60 or 1/4 mile times. Unless you regear 1st usually becomes useless as it's to short. Second is still geared short enough in many cars to launch with and will take to 60 plus without a shift. After supercharging my current C7, and past BMW's 1st became a waste of time in all of them. Guess you've never had anything with real power or you'd know that. |
