I am good with whichever direction they choose - as the IP belongs to them so they can do what they want.. I just prefer the CJM approach. Seems like any return fuel system you buy from almost any Z vendor includes some CJM parts.

Maybe if FI took the same approach, then a bunch of turbo kits would use their spacers (or ICs, or manifolds, or whatever)? I don't know if the idea would be applicable in this instance and is certainly not usable universally. Just saying - there is more than one successful approach out there and the alternative in this case brings the most good will and does not need carry as much risk of copycats since most copycats would rather just buy it from you than reverse engineer it. (Just speculating here, I am no business expert)

edit: This reminds me of an episode of those old Biker-Build-Off shows.. I remember one of the builders also sold all the parts he designed and coincidentally the guy he was competing with actually ordered a headlight from him for the show-build. He was like "Even if I lose... I still win."
