GT-R turbos on the VQ37

the VHR will make more power with them than the VR38 no doubt.

husam2012, good for you for being so gutsy and taking on this risky endeavour. Personally, I would have gone with one of the three (tried, tested and proven) Fast Intentions Turbo packages.

Thanks! Personally, I can't afford to spend 2/3 the value of my car after the kit, tune, and clutch.

Right now including everything clutch and tune i'm just under 6500 but that's because I paid an arm and a leg for the development of the adapters and motor mount bracket.

I would of been able to do it under 5k if someone had already came up with a solution for the motor mount bracket and adapters.

GTR turbos, GTR intake manifold, GTR intercooler, we might as well start running alpha parts

Sub'd!!!

Very interested to see the end result... If the exhaust manifold adapters can be made at a decent price it should keep the total price down.

I went over to the GT-R forum and saw a set of turbos/manifolds going for $900.

Small update. I'm pretty set with the adapters but just a few minor things.

1st issue: I might need slim head hex bolts m10 1.25, not sure where to buy them from as everybody has the slim m10 1.5 not the 1.25.

2nd issue: the driver side turbo inlet doesn't clear the motor mount stud. I thought about just making it shorter but not sure of that's a good idea. Any suggestions?

Also, I got a thermal wrap for the oil lines and coolant lines. Looks pretty good so far but I got about 10 cuts from trying to fit the AN fittings on the coolant hoses..

maybe readjusting Z1 engine mount height and making longer engine bracket? Looks like 10mm should do it.

That would be a too complicated of a fix. I'd rather just remake the inlet at that point at a different angle.

Personally, I would probably just dent it in just a little.

just cut that engine mount stud down or swap it with a bolt! All that extra thread above the nut is not serving any purpose.

My father had the same idea haha. It kinda works but just barely touches it still. I'm just going to grind a little material off the pipes as they're kinda thick.
