Thumbs down Slight Hissing From Passenger Rear

Hello fellow 370z owners,

Unfortunately after dropping off my friend at his house, I noticed this weird hissing noise coming from the passenger rear. It almost sounds like air is coming out slowly. I've attached a video to describe the hissing better and where its coming from. Is this normal? Or should i take my car into the stealership for inspection

Exhaust leak? Is it consistent or a pulse? Exhaust leaks will 'pulse', especially at idle.

i thought exhaust leaks were a ticking noise? The noise is a pulse. My AC went out at 6k miles could it be possibly related to that?

Did you just get your exhaust installed? It could be the VQ "hiss" which isn't noticeable with the OEM exhaust. When I got my aftermarket exhaust installed, the hiss sounded reminded me of an exhaust leak, or a heat shield contacting an exhaust pipe.

I suppose it could also be characterized as a ticking noise, more of a pulsating blowing noise. I highly doubt it has anything to do with your ac. Unless they had to remove exhaust sections to perform the ac repair.

When I installed my aftermarket exhaust, I had a few leaks. Had to torque up the bolts to get rid of it.

I've had the exhaust installed for 3,0000 miles and had no problem.

Jacked up the car with my friend today and we didn't see/hear any exhaust leak. Could this be a fuel pump problem? Noise is coming near the fuel tank
