Nissan 370Z Forum

My starter motor is going out...

My question is when looking for a replacement, does it matter if its from a g37, or 370z? And also whether its an automatic or manual? Thanks guys

Probably the same starter for all. A quick call to your favorite jobber will verify.

There may be a difference in all (G37, 370z, Auto, or Manual). You can never tell.

I called a few mechanics and dealers. They are literally all the same.
Every VQ37VHR has the same starter whether it is auto or manual.
