My question is when looking for a replacement, does it matter if its from a g37, or 370z? And also whether its an automatic or manual? Thanks guys

Probably the same starter for all. A quick call to your favorite jobber will verify.

I called a few mechanics and dealers. They are literally all the same.
Every VQ37VHR has the same starter whether it is auto or manual. Part numbers: 23300EY00A 23300EY00C 23300EY00D 23300EY00E |
