The batteries Nissan uses are a tank! My 2009 still rocking the original battery. Ive let it go to zero while the car was stored several times, and it takes a recharge like a champ and keeps on going.

the battery will last much longer if it was kept full or near full charge at all time. prolong period at low charge would damage the internal of the battery.
I don't drive my car much, but I hook up the battery tender about once a month to ensure the battery is at full charge. I still have the original 6 years old battery. Quote:
