Routing fuel return kit line problem

For those of you who have installed the line running back to the tank in a fuel return kit. How did you get the damn sucker up from under the car without removing the fuel tank through to the fuel pump? Mine gets stuck around where I circled it pink/red, the pic I found to show is without a fuel tank. I am trying to route a line where they have the stainless steel pipe routed. My line is PTFE so it's stiff but flexes a bit. Any tips will be appreciated!

Using brute force unfortunately doesn't work in this case :(

I'd try heating the tip and putting a small bend in it.

Which tip? The line is all bendable, just stiff

The tip you are trying to stuff past the tank. A slight curve may help get around the corner.

I'd also sand the tip a little to round it off to lessen the chance of hanging. Edit: Or use a lighter to fire glaze the end.

Can you fish something down from the top and attach the line to it, then pull it back up?

+1
Gravity is your friend ... sometimes.

I have tried this method, the line gets caught in the area circled and pushing/wiggling from the bottom and/or pulling from the top doesn't help. It gets stuck on something every time :(

I fought with this my self seemed impossible. I used a nylon rope unbranded a few inches and taped it to the fuel line. My son wiggled it side to side from beneath with I used quite a bit of force pulling. It didn't seem to want to work then it just did.
It for sure was the biggest PITA of my SC upgrade by far.

I'm just waiting for that moment for it to pop through!

I had a 3 hour fight with mine ....ended up going to the rear of the tank and then back under ..mainly cause it came through that spot.... the ends were just too big to fit ...however only issue of doing this was the line was 1 foot to short so I bought another piece to extend it to the regulator

Once I had a helping hand it went through much easier. Pushed it down from the top (and pulled and wiggled from the bottom) and at the end (the tank lip) used a fishing line attached to the tip to pull it to the side a bit and down.

Thanks for everyone's input! I'm sure in the future someone can find this thread and benefit from it
