The driver says it is installed correctly. I used to have a cable that z1 let me borrow and it worked fine. (2 years ago) I don't understand why this is giving me so much trouble.

Make sure that the windows and the software are both up to date including the Framework soft, and make sure the pins on the connector are not bent or broken.
