If doing the top hat install, which involves spending some time servicing the fuel pump module... while already having the fuel pump module apart, I would forget replacing it with

If doing the top hat install, which involves spending some time servicing the fuel pump module... while already having the fuel pump module apart, I would forget replacing it with a new one, and just get a new universal pump like the Walbro 255 or a DW drop-in pump. Probably a fraction of the cost of a new fuel pump module from Nissan.
