2016 Nissan 370z Pearly White

Hi guys, just picked up my 370z about a month ago. Ordered a gloss black roof wrap will be installing next week. I have about 2,000$ to spend on some initial mods. Its the automatic/tiptronic base version.

Any input or feedback?

Thanks.

Not sure if this is the right place to post this. Its up you what you wanna spend mate. Can lower it, rims, audio, engine mods, exhaust and body work. Where do you want to start.

Performance. 332 HP base. What do you think I can do with 2k? Not much? and what thread would you recommend. Sorry.

Probably a toss up between exhaust or gen3 intake. At 2k you can probably do both.

Buy Nismo long tube intake, buy down pipes for the exhaust, and get a tune.

if you can spend more $, buy a final drive 4.08 and have it installed, it would be better if you buy an after market LSD too.

This setup will devour pretty much anything on the road under 400-450hp.

Gotta say what you want out of your mods... Show or Go. If it's go, say how you drive and how you want your car to perform. Drag or Handling? My mods are all handling mods but the LSD alone will set you back 2k. Sway bars, bake pads and brake fluid are a good first step if you like canyon runs. My next mods will probably be power mods but we'll see.

It'd be my daily driver, i do enjoy when other cars pull up and want to race..i used to be more aggressive but not so much anymore. I'd just like to pop it up to 380 or 390hp. I'd be happy with that.

If you're looking for that number at the wheel, it's not going to happen with bolt-ons. You'll be lucky to hit 340 after bolt-ons (stock base dyno is around 280 whp).

Get an exhaust and a tune.

Exhaust sounds good but with a single mod you probably don't need a tune yet. If you want that much HP your going to need Forced Induction. Here in CA, the Stillen kit makes a lot of sense due to CARB, but if I was in a state that didn't have inspections I'd really like one of those twin turbo 600hp setups. You might want to look into a set of MT Street radials for the rears, 4.08 gears and a LSD. The tires will cost you handling but they'll help a ton in the straight line performance but if you do the install yourself you could probably keep it close to your budget.

You can do it in groups or a subset of mods. Hope it gives you a good idea on where to start.
  • Breather mods (intake/exhaust) under 2k then a tune down the road.
  • Suspension mods under 2k ( BC or Powertrix coils + front sways + rear camber arms ) or Swifts/H&R lowering springs on Koni's + rear camber arms + sways under 2k.
  • Basic head unit, amp, sub install at 2k
  • Fly1Motorsport body kit under 2k installed. Sunline Racing replica.
  • Honda crowd mod: # 15 tint, cheap lowering springs on OEM shocks, no camber arms, ebay hubcentric spacers, cheap test pipes, and muffler delete. Money left over for lugs and ebay wing.

Not a fan of wrap.

Thanks, that's the kind of feedback I was looking for. Ive ordered a k and n intake and performance cats, tinted the windows and we'll be applying the roof wrap soon.
