Rear diff shim part#'s plz
 

Trying to get all my parts together to do the my ring and pinion but from the dealer the rear end isn't serviceable so they don't list shims for it. Do I just order the shims for the frontier that the ring and pinion is out of? Or could someone please point me in the direction to find all the different sizes with part numbers. Thank you

SORRY I didn't spend a huge amount of time or effort searching that exact wording, also thats not what I am looking for but thanks for the help :tiphat: .I am trying to find the Nissan oem part numbers to use since I work for a Nissan dealership and can get them at almost cost and shipped here free which is usually a big deal since I live all the way in Hawaii..

the part number for the shims are not mentioned in that post. there are lot of other part numbers mentioned like bearing seals etc.

2011 nismo#91- I don't think you understand, if you look on the nissan parts catalog for the 370z they don't have a listing for shims available. The only way nissan sells anything for the rear differential is if you buy the complete pumpkin assembly fully assembled. That's why I am asking what do I look up the shims for to use in our 370z.

You can't pre buy the shims anyway because you don't know what size you will need till you open up the pumpkin.

The thing you can't buy parts for is the VLSD unit itself (22), a sealed self contained unit, you can buy parts of the whole diff that's how people mess with the final gearing.

thanks for the part numbers not sure why my parts guy told me there was no listing for them. I appreciate the huge time and effort you spent for me, not sure why you couldn't just lead with that post. And yes I understand I cant just preorder a shim but I was planning on buying 1 of each size so I wont have to down my vehicle, I plan on doing this in one day.
