Clutch Pedal on the Floor

Hey everyone,

New to the page. Picked up a 40th anniversary for my wife a few weeks back and we absolutely love it.

Currently it has 17,9XX miles on it. So pretty low.

Anyhow, my wife told me to drive her Z to work today because 2 days ago she was driving it and the clutch pedal kept staying at the floor when she was pushing the clutch in to change gears. She drove it yesterday and all functioned perfectly fine. I drove it to work this morning, I did both smooth and lower rpm shifts as well as higher rpm faster shifts just to see if I could find a spot where it would force the clutch to reproduce the same symptoms and I got nothing.

I know the CSC is the big weak link with these cars and it is possible that even at less than 18,000 miles the trans may need to be pulled, but any other ideas? I am considering ordering a stainless line from Z1 and flushing the clutch fluid with some brand new amsoil dot3 fluid.

And yes I read countless and countless threads on this issue being anywhere from the CSC, to a line replacement, to the CMC. :deadhorse:
