LuK RepSet Clutch Kit? Part#06-082
So I bought this clutch kit preemptively and want to know if it's any good.
It was $160 which is like half the price of other clutch kits. They say it's OEM quality but I just want to make sure it's not some cheap part that will fail quickly. http://schaeffler.opticatonline.com/...gion=usa&ctx=1 https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo...=1444083&jsn=1 Update: returned the kit and got the one from Z1 so people can stop messaging me about this |
you get what you paid for

You want to know whether it's crap or not after you bought it?
Just install it and test it out :) |
I just put one of these in my 2008 350z (also skeptical due to the price), and was pleasantly surprised to find that it is literally the stock clutch. This is the same clutch Nissan used as the OE clutch, part numbers and everything stamped on the various pieces are an identical match. It comes with everything, as well; disk, pressure plate, slave (throwout), pilot bushing, and alignment tool. All you'll need to do is the flywheel.
While definitely not a performance upgrade, this is a good inexpensive stock replacement. Anthony |
