Million Dollar question...
Not sure if I should Post this here but... Need some serious help..
Ok I went to Z1 to get my car dyno tuned.. Mods are Test pipes, F.I. exhaust, Stillen G3 intake. John at Z1 tuned my car on the dyno after about an hour and a half John came back in from the dyno and stated "we have a problem" he then stated my first pull showed my car made 280 WHP and John could only get me to 304WHP He stated they Dyno "Osiris" software is showing that I have a knock on one of my knock sensors.. One bank is reading "0" knock the other is reading a knock of 22,800 or so.. John could not tell me witch sensor is showing the knock because my car is not throwing a code.. John stated my car is not knocking, and my motor is fine. According to John he has never seen this before. After a few more hours John looked at the knock sensors and stated they were perfectly fine.. John then went back and forth with UpRev trying different tunes and could not get rid of the problem. They even shut off the knock sensors and it still showed up, John the reflashed back to stock tune and it was still a problem. Does anyone have any Ideas????????

Don't sweat the number's,,,hot weather & no boost=low output.
had mine done in mid May (after driving 3hours) & 1st pull was 290whp & ended up with 309whp.....thought it would have been more/but that was a 1.41:1 trans. gear pull instead of a true 1:1 as far as your knock sensor-i'll do some homework on it,,,BS gas we buy these day's doesn't help much either.

I'm surprised they don't have a good scan tool;
You may want to see if you accidentally unplugged one...they are proud of those baby's. My cost @Napa is $230.51 each Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Since when is 304whp considered bad for these cars with upgrades? That's higher than I got with Stillen G3 and HKS Hi-Power, but not sure what type of dyno I was on (may have been a heartbreaker Mustang dyno or similar).

What i ment was; lower than it would read at a more optimal weather condition...that's all & they have a Dyno-jet

Whoever you know that has a labscope & knows how to use it.... I don't think the tune part has anything to do with it/ you stated that one or the other knock sensors are inop. I haven't removed them on a 370 before; but you can start with an ohm test.
But with a good Labscope- you can see what sensor is doing what & at least get closer to the problem,,,,I don't like the blowing of an engine knock idea::::that doesn't sound like fun

Did you perform the mod's on your ~Z~ & how long was it driven with the Stillen Gen3 intake before tune?

I got access to one at work/but that's not doing you anygood,,,,,researching a bit-seems that one sensor could be picking up a noise & logging it (actual #of times it picked up that signal) and i've also read where moving the mafs can cause unusual noises that the knock sensor picks up.
Jon said he could not determine which bank was reading the 22,800+ times it picked up a signal,,,,not sure why the cel light hasn't came on. could have a vacuum or exhaust leak......i've been talking to a few of my co-worker's about this & they ask me which bank is doing it. Also have read that a clutch engagement noise & sudden acceleration of the free flow exhaust can trigger it.....these are on generic cars & not a 370 in particular. heck-i just remembered an instructor's name/gonna give him a shout.
