When is it a good idea to do a tune up on our cars?

I have 51000 miles on my 370z... she runs PERFECT but was just sitting here thinking about spark plugs and doing tune up stuff... not sure if there is a

Default When is it a good idea to do a tune up on our cars?

I have 51000 miles on my 370z... she runs PERFECT but was just sitting here thinking about spark plugs and doing tune up stuff... not sure if there is a fuel filter on this car, I cant seem to find a part number for one. When is it a good idea to go ahead and install plugs on these motors ? Thanks

What worked for me was as follows: In miles
Plugs every 100k
All Fluids and belt every 60k
The rest as needed...
Fuel filter I never needed to change, but I did have to clean the sock in the tank at about 200k...IIRC

is there a fuel filter on these cars other then the sock in the tank?

Modern cars don't require a tune-up. Just keep everything maintained (plugs, MAFs, fluids, &c) and

i might need a tune up in about 10 years then. lol

oh it sucks to only be able to drive my Z for 6 months a year in MN
